Terms of Service
Last updated: May 28, 2026
These terms govern your use of BookingHub. By creating an account or booking through the platform, you agree to them. We've kept the language plain so you can actually read them.
1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using BookingHub, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the platform.
2. What BookingHub is
BookingHub is an online appointment booking platform. We connect people looking to book appointments with businesses that offer those appointments. BookingHub is the platform. We are not the service provider. The business you book with is responsible for the appointment itself.
3. User accounts and responsibilities
- You must provide accurate information when creating an account or making a booking.
- You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
- You must be at least 14 years old to use BookingHub.
- You agree to use the platform only for lawful purposes.
- You agree not to attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or interfere with the platform's operation.
4. Business accounts and responsibilities
- Business owners must provide accurate information about their business, services, team members, and availability.
- Business owners are responsible for honoring the bookings made through the platform.
- Business owners are responsible for setting their own cancellation policies, refund policies, and any service-specific terms.
- Business owners must comply with all applicable laws and regulations for their industry, including licensing, privacy, and consumer protection.
- BookingHub may suspend or terminate a business account that violates these terms or repeatedly fails to honor bookings.
5. Booking and cancellation
When you book through BookingHub, your booking is between you and the business. BookingHub is the platform that records the booking. Each business sets its own cancellation policy and cutoff window. Cancellation rules are shown on the business's profile and confirmed at booking time.
BookingHub does not process payments for individual appointments at this time. Payment is handled directly between you and the business.
6. Prohibited uses
You may not use BookingHub to:
- Harass, threaten, or impersonate any person.
- Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information.
- Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the platform without permission.
- Send spam or unsolicited communications through the platform.
- Violate any applicable law or third-party rights.
7. Limitation of liability
BookingHub provides the platform "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the platform will always be available, error-free, or uninterrupted. To the maximum extent permitted by law, BookingHub is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.
Because BookingHub is not the service provider, we are not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of the services offered by businesses on the platform. Disputes about an appointment should be addressed directly with the business.
8. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the laws of Canada that apply within it. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Quebec.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email. Continued use of the platform after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
